Terms of Service
Welcome to Tinybop Schools! We are a website with educational interactive models, content, and activities for learning in the classroom and at home. Administrators and teachers may register their schools, classes, and students for use of Tinybop Schools. Parents may access Tinybop Schools with their children who are registered as students.
DEFINITIONS
We’re going to use some shorthand to make this easier to read. In these Terms of Service, when we say “Site,” we mean tinybop.com/schools and the services and content offered through the Site. When you register for Tinybop Schools as a teacher or administrator you become a “User” and the children who are registered for Tinybop Schools through you are “Students.” The terms “Tinybop Schools,” “us,” or “we” refer to Tinybop, Inc., the owner of this Site (which includes both tinybop.com/schools and all of its subdomains). The term “you” refers to you, as a User, Student, or Viewer of the Site.
ACCEPTING THESE TERMS
Please read these terms before using the Site. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not browse, use, or register for the Site. If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll let you know either through the Site or by email (at the email address you provide). If you do not agree to those changes, you may send a request to cancel your account to schools@tinybop.com. If we do not hear from you within ten days, the revised terms will apply to you.
USING TINYBOP SCHOOLS
The public portions of the Site are provided for potential Users. Only school administrators and teachers may become Users and may only do so in association with an institution. Do not register for Tinybop Schools as a User unless you represent a class, school, or district. Administrators and teachers may invite students to participate in Tinybop Schools directly. Parents and guardians may view their children’s student accounts.
REGISTERING: ADMINISTRATORS AND TEACHERS
As an administrator or teacher registering for an account, you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted (b) maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Site (or any portion thereof).
REGISTERING: STUDENTS
Administrators and teachers may register their students for accounts. These accounts may use a number or nickname to identify a student, or they may use accurate information to identify a student.
We comply with the Child Online Privacy Protection Act, or COPPA, by obtaining authorization from the applicable school or district for Students to use Tinybop Schools as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you register children as Students, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to give consent for us to receive the information you provide about Students and to collect the information about the Students as described in our Privacy Policy (including with respect to children under the age of 13), and you authorize us to collect that information on behalf of such Students.
Users are entirely responsible for the actions of Students.
BILLING
Administrators are billed for the use of Tinybop Schools annually. Administrators may also be billed for a one-time setup and onboarding fee. Your subscription will continue unless and until you cancel your subscription or we terminate it. You must cancel your subscription before it renews each billing period in order to avoid billing for the next subscription fee. We will bill the subscription fee at the then-current rate plus any applicable tax to the Payment Method you provide to us during registration (or to a different Payment Method if you change your account information). Subscription fees are fully earned upon payment.
Payment Methods
Credit Card
By providing your credit card to pay for a subscription, you agree to pay us the fees indicated for that subscription. Payments will be charged on the day you sign up for a subscription (annually) or support (one time only) and will cover the use of the Site for the following year.
Purchase order
By submitting a purchase order, you agree to pay in full within 30 days of receiving an invoice from us, unless otherwise specified in a Tinybop Schools Order Form.
CANCELLING: ADMINISTRATORS & TEACHERS
Administrators may cancel a Tinybop Schools subscription.
If a subscription is cancelled within 30 days of purchase, a full refund will be issued to your method of payment, and you, your teachers, and students will no longer be able to access the Site.
If a subscription is cancelled after 30 days of purchase, no refund will be issued. You, your teachers, and students will be able to access the Site only until the next billing cycle. You will not be charged at the next billing cycle.
We may immediately (or as of a date specified in a notice) suspend or terminate your subscription and your access, your teachers’ access, and your students’ access to the Site if you violate these Terms of Service or any of our published policies.

You may not use the Site in any of the following ways: for any commercial purpose without our prior express permission, in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks, by obtaining unauthorized access, using any automated tools, scrapers, robots, data mining or similar data gathering or extraction tools, that infringes the rights of any third party, including the intellectual property of any third party.
